The last three free WPB SSA #33 dates of recycling are July 13 and Sept. 14 at Burr Elementary School, 1621 W. Wabansia, and Sat., Oct. 12, at A.N. Pritzker Elementary School, 2020 W. Evergreen. Time for all the shredding and e-recycling events is from 10 a.m. until noon.

While many community members participated with Chicago Police Department's 12th and 14th Districts community cafes a couple of weeks ago, now more can participate. Next week both districts are having the second round in the creation of the District Policing Strategic Plans.

In its sixth year, Tuesdays at the Triangle is going beyond delivering two hours of free entertainment in the Polish Triangle each Tuesday evening from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. through August 28. At the inaugural evening Tuesday, June 5, two new food vendors will offer tamales and pizza and more vendors will be coming on board in following weeks.
