Week [IN] Guide for art in Wicker Park and Bucktown through April 22
The WPB Week[IN]d Arts Guide series continues this week with even more online and virtual content to tune into and a couple more ways to show support!
Be sure to give it a read find ways to get your artful fix while staying home and healthy.
This guide lists the galleries, bookstores, theaters, shops and venues that help make the Wicker Park Bucktown art scene. Each listing contains links for the website as well as any social media, online shops, virtual programming or fundraisers so you can stay engaged and show your support!
These spaces rely on patronage and public support and many are offering online sales, virtual exhibitions, shows and workshops, books and records, a variety of local, quality artworks and artisan goods, waiting out the pandemic. Some have digital archives and programming that can prove educational, enlightening and entertaining during these times.
All are an invaluable part of our neighborhood. So take advantage of this weekend to enjoy the arts of WPB and show a little love to the people and places that make it possible!
DON'T FORGET TO CHECK OUT THE NEW ARTS FOR ILLINOIS WEBSITE! Additionally, artists living, working, or showing in the Wicker Park Bucktown community are encouraged to join our WPB Artist Registry! SSA #33 is working to update and maintain our public registry of local artists, artisans, and makers in a better attempt to connect the arts and artists with the public.
