Week[IN]d Arts Guide thru April 29
Our latest WPB Week[IN]d Arts Guide is here and full of online and virtual content, exhibitions to browse, and ways to show support and stay engaged! So read up and become the aesthete you've always aspired to be, all from the health and comfort of your own home!
This guide lists the galleries, bookstores, theaters, shops, and venues help make the Wicker Park and Bucktown art scene, with each listing containing links to the website as well as any social media, online shops, virtual programming, or fundraisers so you can stay engaged and show your support!
These spaces rely on patronage and public support and many are offering online sales, virtual exhibitions, shows and workshops, books and records to wait out the pandemic, and a variety of local, quality artworks and artisan goods. Some have digital archives and programming that can prove educational, enlightening, and entertaining during these times. All are an invaluable part of our neighborhood. So take advantage of this weekend to enjoy the arts of WPB and show a little love to the people and places that make it possible!
DON'T FORGET TO CHECK OUT THE NEW ARTS FOR ILLINOIS WEBSITE! Additionally, artists living, working, or showing in the Wicker Park Bucktown community are encouraged to join our WPB Artist Registry! SSA #33 is working to update and maintain our public registry of local artists, artisans, and makers in a better attempt to connect the arts and artists with the public.
