Fountain Decorating Social and Fundraiser

On Saturday, November 17 from 10am – 4pm, Wicker Park will be the site of a Fountain Decorating Social combined with a Fundraiser for Maternal Child Health Advocacy Council (MCHAC) and Wicker Park Advisory Council (WPAC).  The event will be geared toward all ages with the 8th annual seasonal Fountain Decorating activities combined with an inside special event for children.

Guests will decorate the historic Gurgoyle fountain with lights and garland and the 12 urns with greens, dry flowers, and ornamental grasses. Inside children will be able to do crafts, play games, enjoy a bounce house, get their face painted, hear storytellers, and listen to music from local children's performers

Tickets for the inside activities are $45 and can be purchased in advance at eventbrite.com or at the door. The box office for the children’s events inside will provide funding for the two organizations.

The day will end with the lighting of the fountain at 4pm.
