CREATE: In 2012 Various collaborators with the WPAC and the Chicago Park District to created, funded and produced a series of Events and Programming that worked to create one of the best parks in Chicago for people from all over Chicagoland to enjoy. THANK YOU.

In 2013 we’d like to enhance the Events and Programming Schedule and bring more partners, collaborators, sponsors, and volunteers into the process. Bring Your Ideas – Create an Event – Be Part of a Committee.

PRESERVE: We will address and establish Neighborhood Committees to address park issues like vandalism, drugs & drinking and working with the Neighborhood Festivals, so that the park’s assets are preserved during these events. These issues require committees, funding, and a large volunteer team that works with the Chicago Park District, our elected officials, Chicago Police, and service organizations.

Please if you plan to attend and any details of the events or programs you’d like to Partner on or Sponsor this year.

GOALS OF MEETING: Discuss Options, Set Dates, Set Collaboration Teams and Timetables for fund raising, promotions, and day of event management.

HOW IT WORKS: Once the schedule is set, the WPAC Events Committee will work with you to book all events, write all permits and submit them, and draft partnership requests for each event. In addition, we will work out Group Promotion and Production details.

BENEFITS: You will be Part of the TEAM and create excellent events for our neighborhood and for Friends of Wicker Park who come from all over Chicagoland. In the process you will enjoy working with other groups and at the same time promote your intiatives and organizations.
