First local 2017 festival opens: Do Division

The first of the 2017 summer festivals in the West Town and Logan Square communities begins Friday night when Do Division Street Fest & Sidewalk Sale opens at 5 p.m. and closes at 10 p.m. along Division from Damen to Leavitt.

Between the Empty Bottle Presents east and Subterranean west stages, vendors will line the street for the 11th annual event.

Do Fashion's stage will be at Division and Hoyne.

Saturday and Sunday hours are between noon and 10 p.m. for all activities except the Family Fun Fest which will run from noon to 6 p.m. 

The requested gate donation is $5 for admittance, which "benefits the West Town Chamber of Commerce  and local schools including Friends of Pritzker, LaSalle II PTO and Roberto Clemente High School."
