Revelation at Congressman Luis Gutierrez's birthday celebration…

A private birthday celebration in honor of U.S. Congressman, Luis Gutiérrez, 4th District, in a Humboldt Park restaurant Friday night revealed more than a great birthday cake.

It was announced, to approximately 100 family and friends at the event, that an exploratory committee will visit 25 cities in six months, testing the waters for a Presidential bid by Gutiérrez for 2020.

Gutierrez recently announced that he will not run for his existing Congressional seat and threw his support behind Jesus "Chuy" Garcia to be his successor.
