Skates were abandoned for the big costume parade
Spooky Skate Party with two costume contests will once again fill Smith Park's gym this year starting 5:30 p.m., Oct. 26, at 2526 W. Grand Ave.
Scooters, skates and roller blades are all welcome for this free event with many activities and lots of fun.
The gym will be ringed with many Halloween spirits and skaters will be skating to spooky music. Last year there was even a Dinosaur!
At 6:30 p.m., the five and under costumed spooky skaters will be judged for prizes and at 7:30, six to twelve-year-olds will have their costumes judged.
For more information, call the Chicago Park District's Smith Park at 312.742.7534.
