Police District #13 has opportunities for explorers and volunteers

Young people between the ages of fourteen and twenty have an opportunity to apply for membership in the 13th Police District Explorers at a 10 a.m. meeting on Feb. 19 in 937 N. Wood St. According to CAPS Sergeant Juan Clas, "we may consider younger applicants."

As an incentive for commitment, the District will provide a uniform for the first five explorers dedicated to the program.

Volunteers are also needed for this program. Contact the 13th District's CAPS office at 312.746.8355. All volunteers are required to go through a background check.
