Blue Line overnight maintenance may slow trains next week

The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) continues to have nightly maintenance work all week on the Blue until the morning of Feb. 23.

This work may impede some travel time, warns the CTA. Allow extra travel time.

Boarding change is between Jackson and Racine

Nightly Monday, Feb. 19, through Thursday, Feb. 22, from  11 p.m. to 4 a.m. the next morning

Board and exit trains on the O'Hare-bound side of the platform at the LaSalle, Clinton and UIC-Halsted stations. 

Trains in both directions will operate on the same track between Jackson and Racine.
