Blue Line service changes thru April 8

The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) advises riders that there may be a delay in travel on the Blue Line do to work.

Riders are advised to allow for extra travel time during the following times:

Boarding changes between Harlem (O'Hare branch) and Montrose 

From Fri., Apr. 5 to Sat., Apr. 6

Nightly from 10 p.m. to next day at 4 a.m. 

Board and exit on the Forest Park-bound platform at the Jefferson Park station

Trains in both direction will operate on the same track between Harlem (O'Hare branch) and Montrose

The work is part of the Your New Blue modernization program.

Boarding changes between Montrose and Harlem (O'Hare branch)

From Sun., Mar. 31, 10 p.m. to Mon., Apr. 1, 4 a.m. 

From Mon., Apr. 1 to Thurs., Apr. 4 

Nightly from 10 p.m. to next day at 4 a.m. 

Board and exit on the Forest Park-bound platform at the Jefferson Park station

Trains in both direction will operate on the same track between Montrose and Harlem (O'Hare branch)

The work being done is for signal maintenance to ensure safe operations
