CTA Planned service changes thru February 10

The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) is advising the Blue Line riders that they should allow some extra travel time due to work activity scheduled between Feb.7 and Feb. 10.

The work is part of the CTA's Your New Blue modernization program.

Chicago Blue Line Station will be temporarily closed

From Fri, Feb. 7 at 10 p.m. to Mon., Feb. 10 at 4 a.m. 

Please use the nearby station at Grand. A free bus shuttle will operate between the Chicago and Grand stations.

The #56 Milwaukee buses are also available as alternate service to reach Grand station, downtown, or other destinations along the Blue Line.

Boarding changes between Damen and Clark/Lake

From 10 p.m. Fri, Feb. 7, to Mon., Feb. 10 at 4 a.m. 

Board and exit on the Forest Park-bound platform at the Division, Chicago and Grand stations 

Trains in both direction will operate on the same track between Damen and Clark/Lake. 

This work is being performed to ensure safe operations along the Blue Line.
