Public transportation into and in loop shut down

Chicago Transit authority alerts riders that bus and rail lines will not be operating in and around the loop today.

Buses are not running between Western Ave. and the lakefront and from Fullerton Ave. to 47th St.

These actions are a result of the looting and rioting in the streets Saturday and thru the early morning of Sunday, May 31. These actions broke out after what started as a law-biding protest regarding the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis.
